A Psalm of Praise 1 by Sandy Garmire 11-17-25

As I awaken I See Only You Almighty King Jesus

Good morning my Lord and King.  As I wake in the early hours while it is still dark, I see through the darkness, your beautiful face smiling and looking upon me.  My heart leaps with the joy of knowing you are always there watching over me with protective eyes.  You Almighty King stir my heart like only you can.   My satisfaction is complete in you and only you.  No one compares to you.   I love how you love me with a fierce passion, and you clearly reveal day by day how jealous you are for me.  You supply all my needs and desires and there is none you hold back from me.  The little treasure hunts we go on together reveal your heart of love for me and the laughter we share is so joyful and sweet.  Your tender words and encouragement are as sweet kisses upon my lips.  In the midnight hours you wake me with tender callings to draw closer into your heart.  Your arms are wrapped around me as you speak words of love and wisdom beyond the ages of my understanding, and you patiently explain your heart to me.  Oh, the depth of understanding of your love I long for.  Oh, how beautiful and passionate you are for those you love. 

Your fierceness and sacrifice or Lord my Savior, I cannot fully understand, but it is beyond all others sacrifices.  From you the world is saved from death.  Freedom is the sacrifice given to us through your suffering and your blood spilt.  Your wounds have healed us, oh Lord.  Your eyes were upon us with a vision of life eternally, knowing that this must be.  Your eyes saw me and others of your beloved ones.  You knew that this must be. 

I will never forget what you have done.  I am thankful and full of praise for you my God and Lord.  My passion runs deep for you and I prepare my days to be fully consumed by you.  I look to be completely one with you in every way possible and to know your mind and heart.   Lord, let me please you with my passion and praise for you.  Let me be aware of every desire that you have and move to fulfill the requests and commands you have laid before me.  I take my engagement as your beloved Bride seriously and so want to please you in every way.  As you are jealous for me, I am jealous for you and your will Oh Lord.  Transform my heart into your heartbeat of love for others.  Help me to love beyond the surface of what I see in your loved ones.  Purify me to see as you see into the vision you have for your beautiful creation, your Bride, your warriors, your friends and all that you have created.  Touch me with the kisses of your heart and teach me your paths and directions Oh Lord.  For you are my sustenance and all I breathe is from you and you alone.
